A-A-52556 Oil Gun, PneumaticThis CID covers a hand-operated, pneumatic oil gun designed to produce degrees of atomization from a fine spray or mist to a coarse spray of oil. The oil gun is designed for use in spray application of oils to automotive, cleaning, degreasing, air dusting, lubricating oils, spraying kerosene and other cleaning solvents.

4.3 Market acceptability (MA). The contractor shall provide products which have a proven record based on the number of items sold, length of time the product has been on the market, and reliability and performance of the products as required under the contract or solicitation (see 6.2).

5. PACKAGING

5.1 Preservation, packing and marking. Preservation, packing, and marking for- the desired level shall be as specified in the contract or order (see 6.2).

4.4 Information figure. Figure 1 shows a type of oil gun which has been found acceptable; however, the figure is included for illustration only and is not intended to prevent the furnishing of another oil gun which conforms to this CID.
