7.1 Acquisition data. Acquisition documents should specify the following:
a. Title, number, and date of this CID.
b. Size oiler required.
c. Outlet and inlet connections required for size 1 oiler.
d. Outlet and inlet connections required for size 2 oiler.
e. When hose is required for size 2 oiler.
f. Selection of applicable level and packaging requirements.
7.2 Part or identification number (PIN). The PINs to be used for oilers acquired to this CID are created as follows:

AA = Designates a CID
52589 = CID number
X = Size (see 1.2)
7.3 Cross-reference data. Oilers conforming to this CID are mterchangeab!ti’substitutable with oilers conforming to MIL-O-13417B.
